The Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) Project is a collaboration between academic scholars and institutional researchers devoted to creating new data sources and policy relevant analysis to help broaden our understanding of the undergraduate experience and to promote a culture of institutional self-improvement.
The University of Minnesota participated in this national study about undergraduate students in 2009, 2010 and 2012.
The SERU is conducted by the Center for Studies in Higher Education at the University of California Berkeley. The SERU Consortium was formed in 2008 and currently includes a number of Association of American Universities (AAU) institutions.
